Nepal Water Supply Project
Thank you all who have donated towards building a new water piping network in Laprak.
"Finally, after patiently waiting over many long years, the dream of “Laprakies” people come true.
They hadn’t even imagined that they would get water to drink in that challenging place near the grounds of the village, Laprak. The length of water supply is nearly 12 km from any water source. Amongst struggle and strong effort, the team (Ujjyalo Nepal Association) has successfully completed the very first water supply project made possible through donations through a swiss cleantech startup, Droople SA. Now all Laprakies, young to elders, are so thankful and blessed for the help of these two organisations." - Bhabi, sherpa and lead for Laprak's Water Supply Project
Ujjyalo in nepali means giving hope and bringing light from the dark lives of other people in need. Partnering with NGO Ujjyalo Nepal Association, contributing partner, Droople SA, is providing efforts and expertise towards building a new water piping network in the village of Laprak, Nepal.
With the support of noble and kind people like you, we are providing underprivileged communities in need of water, this precious natural resource.
Our mission as well as 100% of every donation is invested in projects designed for non-governmental humanitarian relief and development agency that exists to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people to build secure, productive and just communities throughout Nepal.
"We are proud to say, since August 2021 we launched fundraising that has since been 100% reached by April 2022. Thank you all for making a difference in these communities' lives and for believing in their future!" Lisa Etter, Droople Philanthropy Lead
