Droople selected to partner for SHIMZ NEXT Program

PUIDOUX, Switzerland, March 1, 2023 - Shimizu Corporation ＜President: KazuyukiInoue＞  selected 16 partner companies out of 79 applicants for its ongoing program "SHIMZ NEXT" including swiss cleantech, Droople SA.

"SHIMZ NEXT" is an accelerator program aimed at solving social issues by realizing a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable society, which is the goal of the longterm vision "SHIMZ VISION 2030". The program has set Construction ＆ Urban Design, Resilience, and Environment & Energy as its business themes. Shimizu began accepting applications from participating start-up companies on November 14, 2022. A total of 79 start-ups, including 36 from overseas, applied for the program, and 9 companies in the Construction ＆ Urban Design field, 1 in the Resilience field, and 6 in the Environment & Energy field were selected as partner companies.

Shimizu Corporation showcased each partner company at their booth at CityTech. Tokyo, held February 27-28, 2023. This global start up technology event was hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, including 300 exhibitors and 10’000 attendees dedicated to expand investment in infrastructure, the environment and other areas to lead a fresh vision for a sustainable future and overcoming challenges faced by cities around the world. Each partner company offers collaboration ideas and for further commercialization. "SHIMZ NEXT" is operated jointly with ReGACY Innovation Group, Inc.
